Can I purchase a Durastill 30J with a water storage tank to make a fully Automatic Water Distiller System Package?
Yes! The Durastill 30J Automatic Water Distiller 8 gallon per day can be combined with the 4 Gallon Countertop Water Storage Tank [model 30-4ct], the free standing 10 Gallon Water Storage tank [model 3040] or 25 Gallon Water Storage Tank [model 3096] to create a fully automatic water distillation system.
How does the water storage tank make it a "fully automatic distilled water system"?
First you would connect the 30J to a pressurize water line. The 30J water distiller power cord plugs into the water storage tank float power switch, then the float switch plugs into the wall power outlet. When the storage tank is empty and the float is lowered then the tank turns ON the distiller and says "fill me up". The Durastill 30J will then open the water solenoid valve and fill up the boiling chamber and start to distill water in batches of about 1 gallon. The water distiller will keep distilling water until the storage tank is full. Once the water storage tank if full and the float goes up to the top of the tank then that will turn off the water distiller. So it is the water storage tank that controls the whole Durastill automatic water distillation system. The water storage tank will always keep itself full, so you always have 4, 10 or 25 gallons of distilled water on-hand for your family.
Can I manually fill the Durastill 30J?
The Durastill 30J has 2 modes: Automatic Mode and Manual Mode. You essentially have 2-distillers-in-1: an Automatic Water Distiller and a Manual Water Distiller. Changing the mode is as easy as the flip of a switch. Just turn the "Auto Fill" switch to OFF and you instantly have a manual water distiller. So if you are not ready to install your water source line and get a water storage tank, then you can always use it as a manual water distiller until you decide to upgrade your system.
